Walk-in Closet FAQ
How do you guarantee that the custom design I receive is the best fit for my needs and my home?
Our design consultants, backed by years of experience and extensive training, work closely with you to understand your unique needs, preferences, and vision for your space. Through personalized consultations, we assess your space, take inventory, and discuss your requirements and budget. We employ advanced 3D modeling to collaboratively refine the design until it aligns perfectly with your expectations.
Additionally, every project undergoes a detailed review process by our team to ensure the highest standards are met. Our commitment to quality, use of premium materials, and meticulous attention to detail guarantee a custom solution that enhances your home and lifestyle.
What is the typical lead time for the delivery and installation of your custom solutions?
As a local business boasting full in-house manufacturing capability, we pride ourselves on our efficiency across all our services. Typically, our lead time for delivering and installing our custom solutions ranges between 2-5 weeks, depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload. For the most accurate and up-to-date information on lead times for your specific service request, we encourage you to reach out directly to our dedicated team.
Why is a 14-inch depth considered the most suitable for custom closets?
A 14-inch depth is considered ideal for custom closets as it strikes the perfect balance between maximizing storage space and maintaining accessibility. This depth accommodates a wide range of items, including folded clothes, accessories, and shoes, while ensuring that everything is visible and within reach. Additionally, a 14-inch depth is versatile, allowing for efficient use of space in closets of various sizes, and it helps in maintaining a sleek and uncluttered appearance, enhancing the overall aesthetics of your custom closet.
While we typically offer several common depths for our custom closets, such as 12”, 14”, 16”, 20”, and 24”, we have the flexibility to design our closets to accommodate your unique design requirements.
Do I need to remove the existing shelving before my custom closet installation date?
Yes, we recommend that you remove your wire racking before the installation date. This gives you the opportunity to repair and paint your walls, creating a fresh canvas for your new custom closet. If you prefer, we can also handle the removal of your existing closet system for you. In this case, we will patch any holes that result from removing the existing shelving, but please note that we won't be able to paint the walls for you. Removal and disposal of the existing shelving will cost extra.
How can I maximize the space in my walk-in closet?
Our expert Design Consultants will assess your space and your storage needs, and then craft a design that optimizes every inch of your closet. We incorporate a mix of hanging areas, adjustable shelving, drawers, and specialty accessories like shoe racks, tie and belt organizers, and jewelry trays. Our designs often include vertical storage solutions, which make use of the closet's full height, and corner shelves to utilize often-overlooked spaces. We also offer a variety of finishes and hardware options, allowing your walk-in closet to not only be highly functional but also a beautiful extension of your home's décor.
